The Restaurant

Whether you’re starting your day with a freshly ground coffee and breakfast roll from our takeaway (weather dependent) or joining us in the restaurant for a classic crab linguine or fish and chips, you are guaranteed a friendly warm welcome and spectacular views of St Ives Bay overlooking Godrevy Lighthouse, Gwithian, and Hayle Sands. Cocktails, local beers, wine and champagne are available from our fully licensed bar.

As a beach-side cafe we welcome dogs at Porthgwidden, if you wish to bring your four-legged friends along whilst you eat and drink, please let us know ahead of your reservation by calling the restaurant or including a note on your online booking.

The Setting

Tucked between the grassy slopes of ‘The Island’ and the town’s picturesque harbour, Porthgwidden Beach is one of St Ives’ best kept secrets. Slip around cobbled corners, meander down twisting lanes and eventually you’ll find the small and sheltered bay, home to a café beloved of summer visitors and locals alike.
